🦷Maximal Intercuspal Position (MIP)
又稱為 Central Occlusion (CO),為上下顎牙齒之間的關係,上下顎後牙咬得最緊密的位置即為CO, 此時牙齒間的接觸面積最大。
是牙齒間的相對位置,和 jaw muscle 與 joint 位置無關。
The maximum occlusion of opposing teeth, regardless of condylar position.
🦷Centric Jaw Relation (CR)
為上下顎骨頭之間的關係,輕咬牙齒並把頭往後仰,下顎會隨之微往後移,此時上下顎位置即為CR,而牙齒幾乎沒有接觸。
The relationship of the mandible to the maxilla with the condyles in the most superior position, regardless of tooth position.
🦷Interproximal contact of adjacent teeth
1. 預防食物阻塞於牙齒之間(prevent food impaction)
2. 穩定牙弓(Dental arch stabilization):分散咬力,如果咬力沒有被分散,單顆牙齒很容易受力搖動。
🦷Embrasure(齒斜隙)
1. 咀嚼食物時的食物洩道(food spilling)
2. 牙齒的自清作用(Maintenance of oral hygiene)
🦷Height of Contour (Crest of Curvature)
保護及刺激牙周組織(protection and stimulation of periodontium),維持口腔衛生。食物滑下去會刺激牙肉,若改變其弧度造成刺激太大或不足都會導致發炎,故其斜度與曲線非常重要。
over contour :食物通過不會刺激牙齦,會造成發炎。
under contour :直接刺激牙齦,使其發炎。
🦷Curve of Spee
Curve of Spee is an anotomic curvature of the occlusal alignment of the teeth, beginning at the tip of the lower incisor, following the buccal cusps of the natural premolars and molars and continuing to the anterior border of the ramus to the condyle process. 如下圖
🦷Curve of Wilson
Curve of Wilson is the curve viewed from the front, that contacts the buccal and lingual cusps of the molars, being lower in the middle due to the lingual inclination of the long axes of the mandibular molars. 如下圖。
🦷Swallowing (Deglutition)
1. The anterior part of the mouth is sealed (lips closed)
2. The teeth are closed into their maximum intercuspal position (CO)
3. The soft palate is raised
4. The hyoid bone is raised as we close off the trachea
5. The posterior part of the tongue is engaged in a piston-like thrust causing the small mass of chewed food (bolus) to be pushed into the oral pharynx
